These books are written by the great Tamil Saint, Thiruvalluvar. They teach moral values and a way of life. Such as: A man without a self is not fit to live with others. The one who practices fame-seeking will secure fully his desire for it, but never peace of mind. Wisdom is better than wealth or honor because wisdom leads to immortality. They also help us understand the various aspects of life, such as: mind, heart and eyesight; family relationships; social obligations; religious observances; right conduct in making money and giving charity etc., that we require for our daily living. The most important and spiritual book in Hinduism is the Bhagavad Gita. It is a short scripture of seven hundred verses. The essence of the Vedas and Upanishads is found here. It was spoken by Krishna to the warrior Arjuna at the time of the Mahabharata war. The questions asked by Arjuna and Krishna's answers comprise this scripture. God, soul, duties, morality, yoga, meditation etc., are some of the topics dealt with herein. We find three kinds of people: Those who live for sense pleasure; Those who live in selfish ego; and Those who live in devotion (Bhakti). These are the original books of the White Lotus School. They were written by Sakya Pandita, who was also a teacher of Padmasambhava. They deal with the following topics: The white-color of the four horses of Dharmadhatu; The four aspects of Buddha Sambhogakaya; The four exalted pristine Dharmadhātu nyaya Yogas; The two genera of phenomena in our own Dharmadhatu; Dharma in the Buddhist sense, and Dhamma in its proper sense. These are valuable works on philosophical theology. They are also called tantras. The great Vaisesika philosopher, Dignaga, considered them to be 'the most profound works ever written on logic' and he wrote an extensive commentary on them. The "Trika-tantras" are a collection of works collectively known as the Trika school of Tantra philosophy. They were written by Gopala Bhatta (c. 1350–1430). These works are based on the view of the trikaya (three bodies) of reality or nature - namely purusha (spirit or soul), prakriti (material nature) and buddhi (intellect). "Tantra" is a Sanskrit word which literally means "loom, warp, weave" and comes from the root 'tanoti' (stretches out) and indicates the interlinking of parts. The "Karika" commentaries on the "Tantras" were authored by Kshemaraja (c. 1290–1380). These books deal with points of law on inheritance, marriage and divorce. They also cover legal proceedings such as how to punish someone who has committed a crime and penalties for disobedience of court orders. These are prose dramas that depict Buddhist doctrines through stories told by characters in the play. cfa1e77820
